About Alex

Welcome, I am so glad you are here!

My name is Alex Doronkin, and I am a Certified Well-Being Coach with the Anthropedia Foundation. I spent most of my professional life in corporate Human Resources leadership roles, focused on helping people and organizations grow and transform. I had, what anyone would describe as, a “very successful career.” Over the years, I found myself more and stressed, unfulfilled, and near complete burn out. I was going through the motions, doing what I was “supposed to do” in all areas of my life, and in the process had left my own needs and wants behind. As I searched for a different path in life with more balance and fulfillment, I felt myself drawn to Anthropedia’s Well-Being Coach training. What I learned challenged me in new ways, transformed me, and enabled me to significantly grow in well-being by helping me to:

  • Get to know and accept myself more fully.

  • Act more on what matters to me with conscious choice, versus living in autopilot.

  • Calm my thoughts and let go of constant worry and overwhelm.

  • Take better care of my body, mind, and spirit.

  • Improve my relationships and sense of belonging in the world.

As I witnessed the positive changes in my life, my desire to help others grew and became a new purpose for me. I bring empathy, intuition, authenticity, and a calm presence to my coaching sessions. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to increase self-understanding, and explore new behaviors and thought patterns, so they can achieve meaningful goals in their life and improve their overall sense of well-being.
